Mitchell Communications Group is a full-service public relations agency. We are business counselors with communications expertise. We help our clients design and implement strategic communications initiatives consistent with their corporate reputation and focused on achieving measurable results. Mitchell Communications Group was founded in 1995 and has a team of more than a dozen seasoned professionals located in Northwest Arkansas and around the country who have backgrounds in public relations, marketing, sales, journalism and business management. Among our team are four APRs (accredited in public relations), one PRSA College of Fellows member, and one MBA. We believe in giving back to our community and our industry, and we are active in local, regional and national professional and civic organizations and non-profit groups. Our team has been recognized on numerous occasions for business excellence, community service and industry leadership.
She was named the 2002 “Northwest Arkansas Business Executive of the Year” by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal. Elise was also selected as a finalist in the statewide competition for 2002 “Arkansas Business Executive of the Year,” sponsored by Arkansas Business. She received the 2003 “Athena” award winner for leadership and community service by the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. Elise was the winner of “Fayetteville's Young Top Five” Award in 2000 and was named to the “40 Under 40” list by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal in 1999. Elise is a member of the executive committee of the Northwest Arkansas Council, and she is a member of the Arkansas Women’s Forum. She serves on the board of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, Washington Regional Medical Foundation, Jones Center for Families, Genesis Technology Incubator, Arvest Bank, LifeSource International, and Accelerate Arkansas. She is a sustaining member of the Fayetteville Junior Civic League and the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo. He is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America and is immediate past president for the Northwest Arkansas Chapter, where he currently serves on its executive board of directors. Michael was named to the “40 Under 40” list by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal in 2005. He has attended the Disney University in the Walt Disney World College Program. Michael stays busy outside of the office as a coach for youth soccer, volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club of America and the Bentonville Public Schools. |
